“My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The sauna was a treat, taking a dip into the cold bath was totally crazy, but I did it. Absolutely loved the hot tub. The weather worked in our favour and we braaied all three nights. We did the beautiful circular walk in the Chilterns. “What a wonderful place. This was our third stay and it didn’t disappoint. We needed to switch off and relax which we certainly did. Another great Thai meal at the George and Dragon, just a short walk along the brook in to town. A lovely evening warming by the firepit and even a few hours reading and swinging in the hammock. The best thing about this place was the hot tub, and the fact there was no TV or internet. We read books, went for a lovely walk up to Coombe Hill and spent time just relaxing and connecting. “A really idyllic weekend of cooking on the fire, ambling down to the Red Lion in Wendover for a drink and exploring the lovely walks in the area. Would recommend following the Ridgeway over to Chequers – a beautiful walk and a lovely farm shop en route! Badger’s Bower was very cosy and comfortable.

“What a lovely beautiful little place this is! We enjoyed every minute of our stay. We used the BBQ several times and relaxed in the wonderful surroundings – the weather was perfect!! Would recommend a cycle up the Wendover Arm Canal – very easy but very easy on the eye too! Also, it is worth walking up to Coombe Hill Monument for great views.  Had a very cozy and relaxing break away from civilization. Probably the best sleep in a good few months surrounded by nature. Really great hosts, friendly and very accomodating, will most definitely visit again.
